The following is how to open and close the right-left truck windows and also open and close the doors of buses or other vehicles in the ETS2 (Euro Truck Simulator 2) game. I practiced this method in the ETS2 game version 1.48 and it immediately worked. This method can be practiced starting from version 1.37 (or later).
I cut it too fine on fuel, and ran out. I coasted to the next fuel stop, but braked a bit too soon and didn't quite make it to the pump. So, I called for assistance which took me to the next city (at quite an expense!). A small amount of fuel was added to the tank by this, enough to drive to a petrol station. At that point, the game crashed. When I restarted and got back, I was at the pointSeconded. AI gets itself in unresolvable jams and barriers prevent you from legitimately getting through. Waste an in-game hour for sim purposes if you wish, then either reload the save or console-fly beyond the jam. My longest was about 2600 miles, using the Trucksim Map 5.0, Once you get Long Distance Level 6 unlocked deliverys will cover the entire map and take about 50 - 60 hours game time (and around 6 to 8 hours real time) to complete.
