Olive oil kills lather, so the more you use, the less bubbly your bar of soap will be. Raise the superfat. Try an 8% superfat instead of a 5%. More excess oil kills lather, so you might lose some bubbles. Replace some coconut oil with other lower cleansing oils/butter such as shea, rice bran, avocado, sweet almond…etc.
Make the Lye Solution Make your lye solution in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors, by an open window, or under a kitchen extractor Add the sodium lactate to the lye solution after it's cooled below 130°F / 54°C

So for a nice, hard, white bar of soap, just like Granny used to make, use one of these combinations of oils, or create your own soap recipe using combinations of these oils.
